JSC “558 Aircraft Repair Plant” introduces the innovative BR-4TM secure airborne data acquisition unit designed to replace the conventional tape-based devices. The novel product significantly enhances the performance characteristics of the flight data recorder system.
Key advantages of BR-4TM:
- transition to an advanced recording method: solid-state memory instead of magnetic tape;
- increased reliability;
- significant reduction of data reading and processing time.
The reading and analysis of recorded data are performed using the Dvina-M automated flight data processing system. The device is additionally provided with the capability of copying the data accumulated during the flight via the RS232 serial interface.
The BR-4TM unit is designed for installation on the following types of aircraft: Su-27(UB), Su-30, MiG-29(UB), Su-25(UB).
