Prompt detection is key to successful target jamming. Radar provides this advantage. JSC “KB Radar” is about to complete the manufacturing of a batch of the Rodnik-3D radars, the three-dimension radars for detection of low-flying aerial objects.
The Rodnik-3D radar design builds on experience of modern armed conflicts. Its vocation are low-altitude small-sized targets, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in radio silence mode. The Rodnik-3D radar is capable of detecting a multirotor at a distance range of up to 7 km, a fixed-wing UAV – at a distance range of up to 20 km, even in a complicated high interference environment. The station also demonstrates steady performance with medium- and high-altitude targets.
The Rodnik-3D radar can be used as part of comprehensive protection systems for critical infrastructure facilities and important government buildings and can cover areas with poor radar coverage at low altitudes. It is especially efficient when used in combination with electronic warfare equipment: the station enhances its capabilities to counter UAVs in radio silence mode.
JSC “KB Radar” continually improves its arsenal to build defence-in-depth systems of protection against UAV threats.
