Mobile command and reconnaissance station by SAMI
Specialists from OJSC “Kidma Tech” have created a truly unique mobile command and reconnaissance station based on MT-LBu vehicle. This is not just a command post, but a real AD brain centre, equipped with acoustic and multispectral reconnaissance systems, suitable for integration with various radar systems. It is virtually invisible to most existing reconnaissance systems.
The purpose of the station is to:
detect air and ground targets: aircraft, helicopters, UAVs, armored vehicles, automobile vehicles, artillery and mortar batteries;
effectively control AD units (Strela-10, Shilka, Tunguska) and quickly change locations;
work jointly with the Air Force and Air Defense troops.
The main feature of the station is its acoustic station. It comes in two options:
· basic — installed on the chassis;
· remote — placed up to 50 meters away for better accuracy.
Operating jointly, the acoustic devices create a circular (360°) sound field with highly accurate direction-finding, determining the direction of the sound source with a noise level exceeding only 5 dB. The product has successfully passed preliminary and research tests.
The station is also equipped with Sokol optronic station with 360° coverage, which can detect:
ü aircraft and helicopters at a distance of up to 20 km;
ü UAVs at a distance of up to 2 km.
The cameras of the optronic station operate in the visible spectrum (via the IR channel), can zoom the image and automatically track the target until it is destroyed. In order to increase the target detection range, the station can be lifted up to 7 meters high, allowing the vehicle to remain in cover. Target recognition is performed by specially developed software based on neural network algorithms.
