Protection against UAVs: SAMI Offers Integrated Solutions Based on ADUNOK Combat Modules

Защита от дронов

Protection of industrial facilities against UAV attacks requires a multilevel security system. The key element of this protection responsible for the physical destruction of targets is the ADUNOK remotely controlled combat modules designed by “Display” Design office”, JSC.

The modules are deployed along the perimeter of the protected facility. The system enables one operator who stays in a protected shelter to control up to four combat modules simultaneously and to record in their memory up to 10 top-priority targets to be destroyed.

High speed of response and capability of integration
Integration of the ADUNOK combat module with modern detection facilities enables the acquisition of accurate target designation data from several sources:
•    radars,
•    spotter UAVs,
•    GPS/GLONASS coordinates,
•    digital terrain maps.

This makes it possible to engage fire on the enemy almost immediately after it was detected.

Versatility and application options
The combat modules can be deployed in a stationary position or can be mounted on different chassis, special-purpose vehicles, the ADUNOK-M24 and the ADUNOK-M250 remotely controlled robotized platforms to significantly enhance the application flexibility of the combat modules and use them efficiently in patrolling.

An optoelectronic system ensures round-the-clock alertness. The automatic target tracker independently engages and tracks the target leaving one single task for the operator – the final engagement decision.

Fire power against any threats
The weapons for the module are selected taking into account specific goals, with a wide choice of options available, including 30 mm automatic guns. The 7.62 mm PKT coaxial machine gun on the ADUNOK-V2 modification has proved to be efficient in countering small-sized UAVs: the weapon confidently destroys a standard 0.3 x 0.3 m UAV at a distance of 400-500 meters.

The ADUNOK combat modules transform conventional perimeter protection into a highly intellectual robotized network capable of ensuring physical destruction of aerial threats, as well as the safety of personnel and infrastructure.
