JSC “KB Radar” is developing a compact X-band radar station, named “Rebus”, designed for the short-range detection of small airborne targets.
The product employs a continuous-wave radiation mode–as well as antenna structural elements that ensure effective operation against UAVs in dense urban environments–including for targets flying under conditions of radio silence.
In addition to its impressive detection range for small UAVs (up to 5 km), “Rebus” offers high mobility, advanced manufacturing technology, versatility, and low cost.
Multi-channel reception and processing of reflected signals, combined with a substantial reserve of computing power, give the product high potential for modernisation. Meanwhile, the radar’s versatile and compact design enables its deployment on various platforms, expanding its operational scope.
In the future, this innovative radar will form part of the comprehensive solutions offered by JSC “KB Radar” to protect critical infrastructure, as well as key military and government facilities, from UAVs.
