On October 22, 2025, the Belarusian delegation headed by Dmitry Pantus, Minister of SAMI, carried out its visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

One of the main events of the final day of the visit was a Plenary Meeting of the Belarusian-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation. During the Meeting, which took place in a constructive and businesslike atmosphere, the participants summed up the results of the work performed for the recent period and outlined the specific ways for further development of bilateral relations.

The Parties conducted a detailed analysis of current projects, considered new promising cooperation areas, and confirmed their mutual interest in deepening cooperation regarding import substitution and strengthening technology independency of both countries.

Following the Belarusian delegation's visit to Iran, the final Minutes of Meeting (MoM) of the Joint Commission was signed.

The document, signed by Dmitry Pantus, head of SAMI and Brigadier General Masoud Oraei, the Deputy Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran, not only sums up the results of two days of intensive negotiations, but also clearly sets the specific agreements reached during the Plenary Meeting and working meetings, defining new guidelines for joint work.

The MoM will serve as a solid foundation for further development of Belarusian-Iranian long-term military-technical cooperation.
