Working visit to Tehran: Belarus and Iran open new cooperation perspectives.
The Belarusian delegation headed by Dmitry Pantus, Minister of SAMI, is carrying out a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The busy program of the visit being part of the 11th Meeting of the Belarusian-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation includes a series of negotiations and visits to a number of enterprises of Iran's military industry system.
Today, the negotiations took place between the co-chairmen of the Commission: Dmitry Pantus, the head of SAMI and Brigadier General Masoud Oraei, the Deputy Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran. During the negotiations, the Parties considered on-going subjects of military-technical cooperation development, as well as promising areas for joint work. It was emphasized that implementation of existing agreements has successful dynamics. The meeting confirmed the mutual desire to develop a long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.
This visit clearly demonstrates the practical focus of the Belarusian-Iranian dialogue and opens up additional opportunities for cooperation.
