“Berserk” – fighter with artificial intellect

Creation of modern samples of armament and military eqipment and deep modernization of the present ones in Belarus are one of the major factors providing defense capability of the country. The Head of the State Aleksandr Lukashenko stated this fact while examining home-produced samples of weapons and equipment during his visit to the military firing range in Ivatsevichi district.
 As one of the novelties in the armament, the “Berserk” robotic fire weapon system was presented which is a new word in the development of armament. It is equipped with two four-barrel machine-guns and can hit both the UAVs and enemy manpower remotely.
The system can be operated at a distance of up to five kilometres, besides the robot can operate in an autonomous mode according to the specified plan. For example, to secure the perimeter of the object. 
The employment of the newest optical and electronic components in this sample guarantees easy of control and exactness of target detection and recognition. High manoeuvrability and off-road capability ensure missions execution in various terrains in all weather conditions.
As noted by the leading world analytical centers, the era of the equipment with artificial intellect has already begun. It is possible that robotized groups will soon completely replace the soldiers on the battlefield. The robots will carry out the reconnaissance of the terrain, demine the passes, bring the ammunition etc. At the same time their operators and fighters of the combat units will be safe.
