Vaza-MB Will Increase the Effectiveness of Air Defence Artillery
2566 Radioelectronic Armament Repair Plant JSC (REARP) has completed work on the manufacture of radio complex (RC) of the anti-aircraft artillery battery control of 57 mm artillery anti-aircraft guns AZP-57 Vaza-MB in the interests of the customer.
The radio complex can fulfill the tasks of air reconnaissance, receiving information about air situation from other sources (a higher or interacting command post, the nearest radar post, etc.), searching and detection the coordinates and movement parameters of targets.
Its purpose is to control the fire of a battery of up to 8 anti-aircraft guns. For this, a central distribution unit with eight outputs is used to control and power the control channels.
Based on the information received, the complex generates guidance commands for the subunit’s guns in the form of full guidance ranges, calculated taking into account the deviations of the ballistic and meteorological conditions of firing from the table performance.
The radio complex can also fulfill other tasks of fire control of an anti-aircraft artillery battery armed with a 57 mm S-60 anti-aircraft artillery system.
All product’s equipment is implemented on an advanced element base and, together with the power unit, is placed in a van body mounted on the chassis of the Ural-4320 vehicle. Depending on the wishes of the customer, it is possible to install special equipment on the chassis of other vehicles.
The product includes a set of active phased antenna arrays (AFAA), which provides detection and automatic tracking of up to 30 air targets. AFAA has protection from active noise, passive, non-synchronous impulse jamming.
The minimum range of radar channel in close-in and far-field zones is
0.1 – 2.5 km, respectively, and the maximum range is 20 – 50 km.
