SAMI’s Lektor Leads Gunners to Victory
The Obuz-Lesnovskiy range hosted another stage of the Armed Forces best mortar battery competitions.
The use of the Lektor automated artillery fire control system was the ace of trumps of the gunners of the 11th separate mechanized brigade. This modern system demonstrated its efficiency in a real-life environment: it allowed to put together reconnaissance and destruction means into a single warfare package ensuring high accuracy and promptness of performance of fire tasks.
SAMI: Upgrading of Airborne Data Acquisition Units
JSC “558 Aircraft Repair Plant” introduces the innovative BR-4TM secure airborne data acquisition unit designed to replace the conventional tape-based devices. The novel product significantly enhances the performance characteristics of the flight data recorder system.
Key advantages of BR-4TM:
- transition to an advanced recording method: solid-state memory instead of magnetic tape;
- increased reliability;
- significant reduction of data reading and processing time.
A Reliable Defence Against Drone Threats
The new “Pyramida” jamming system, developed by JSC “KB Radar” and currently undergoing testing under various operational conditions, is designed to jam the satellite navigation channels of GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo receivers within a specified zone. Target receivers include those on aircraft, precision-guided munitions, weapon control systems, and ground-based platforms.
SAMI’s Novel Products. Rodnik-3D: Detection Is a First Step towards Jamming
Prompt detection is key to successful target jamming. Radar provides this advantage. JSC “KB Radar” is about to complete the manufacturing of a batch of the Rodnik-3D radars, the three-dimension radars for detection of low-flying aerial objects.
Tarpan: Taking Control of the Navigation Field
JSC “KB Radar,” a leader in electronic warfare and radar technology, is advancing defense against precision-guided weapons and unmanned threats. The company has developed a state-of-the-art line of electronic warfare systems to deliver comprehensive protection for critical assets.
SAMI’s R-181-5NK: Reliable Short-Band Electronic Warfare Communications
In circumstances, where every second counts, and the situation changes with lightning speed, one can ill afford communications to fail. The multimode SB radio station (1.5-30 MHz) based on the advanced SDR architecture and engineered by OAO “AGAT-SYSTEM” is intended for operation in any natural settings and in active electronic warfare conditions.
• Frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) mode: signal interception and jamming are next to impossible.
Sky Video Performance
Specialists at Display Design Office JSC have developed a line of specialized video monitors engineered to meet the most stringent requirements for visualization and ergonomics. These products are tailored specifically for air traffic control services.
The product range offers dedicated solutions for all operator tasks:
VMA240P3AP-RP – 24", 1920 × 1200
VMA320P3-RP – 32", UHD 4K
VMA330P3 – 33", 1:1 square aspect ratio (1920 × 1920)
VMA430P3-RP – 43", UHD 4K
SAMI’s Upgraded TA-23 Safeguards Communications
OAO “AGAT-SYSTEM” experts ensure robust wire communications for field and stationary environments with the TA-23 telephone set. The device is designed for operation on a field cable line with single-type equipment (e.g., TA-11, TA-57) in the local battery (LB) mode.
ALEVKURP JSC Upgrades Optronic System for ADMS
ALEVKURP JSC continues to enhance the performance of optronic systems (OS) for medium- and short-range air defence missile systems (ADMS). Company specialists have significantly upgraded the TV-TP OS, designed to replace the obsolete Karat television-optical sight.
The integration of an automatic target tracker (ATT) enables target acquisition and tracking with minimal operator intervention, significantly reducing system reaction time and increasing hit probability. Furthermore, tactical and technical capabilities have been enhanced by optimizing the field of view parameters.
Mobile Vehicle Maintenance Workshop
140th Repair Plant JSC has developed a modern, multi-purpose maintenance workshop on a high-mobility Ural-4320 chassis. It is designed for prompt scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and field repairs of weapons, military hardware, and special equipment directly at field depots, during transit, or in operational areas.
A Course Toward Technological Independence
Experts at NIIEVM JSC have taken a significant step toward reducing dependence on foreign components by developing a proprietary electrical engineering solution to replace imported equivalents.
Specifically, the company has developed a sine-wave filter for the output circuits of AC frequency converters. The device converts the PWM output signal into a pure sine wave, removing harmful higher harmonics that cause energy losses and shorten equipment lifespan.
Modernisation of the Osa System
As part of a comprehensive effort to upgrade weapons and military equipment, 2566 Radioelectronic Armament Repair Plant JSC has completed a major modernisation of the 9T217 transloader for the Osa SAM system, upgrading it to the 9T217-1B standard.
The vehicle is now mounted on a modern MAZ-5316 4×4 chassis, which significantly improves its operational performance and increases its missile-carrying capacity.
In addition, the vehicle's lifting equipment and radio communication systems have been completely replaced, and a remote crane control system has been integrated.
Sfera Enters Trial Operation
Trial operation of the Sfera automated airspace planning and traffic flow control system has commenced at the Minsk Air Traffic Control Centre. The system was developed and integrated by AGAT – Control Systems JSC.
The launch of the system marks a new phase in the digital transformation of the Republic of Belarus’s air traffic control infrastructure. Sfera is designed to serve as a unified digital framework for strategic, pre-tactical, and tactical airspace planning, as well as air traffic flow management, delivering an unprecedented level of automation across the sector.
High-Performance Video Monitor for Command Posts
Engineers at Display Design Office JSC have developed the VMC-140.4LCD, a new addition to their lineup of multi-platform video monitors, and launched its serial production.
Featuring a 55” screen with 3840×2160 resolution, this monitor is designed for command posts and control rooms. Its key advantage is the ability to display high-definition information even under extreme operating conditions. Technical highlights of the VMC-140.4LCD include modern HDMI and DisplayPort interfaces, a wide operating temperature range from –40 °C to +65 °C, and 24/7 continuous operation support.
